Steatite modular battery packs are meticulously designed for reliable continuous daily usage in harsh environments where shock, vibration, and varying temperatures are likely to be experienced. Currently in the final stages of development, the modules will be available in both 24v and 48v formats and are intended for medium to high power applications., such as those outlined under our Combustion Engine Replacement Programme (CERP). Thermal management has been taking into consideration within the design of each pack. Standard packs to be UN 38.3 approved with CAN bus and other interface options.
The 48V battery pack is a modular design which means that it can be used as a standalone pack if it meets your voltage and power requirement. Alternative these versatile packs can be linked in combination of series and/or parallel format to meet individual requirements, however, please contact us for advice before linking battery packs. The modular design allows for positioning of multiple batteries in different locations of the device thereby aiding precise load balancing or overcoming physical limitation issues. The 48v battery module is specifically designed for continuous daily usage in harsh environments.
